Hello Saroj,
Thanks for posting this podcast. of Sramana … I accidentally stumbled upon your blog and also the Women 2.0 web site today via some other reading I doing as I was looking for some info about entrepreneurship. The mentoring role that Sramana described truly resonates with me as I’ve recently been recruited as a mentor for entrepreneurship for PACE at Univ. of Hawaii (see the URL I entered). Its great to get the word out such as on some of the topics Sramana mentioned:
* recruiting great mentors
* how to structure a business (especially financially)
* how to be comfortable with risk taking and making mistakes
In general collectively people need to not worry so much about the fear of failure that so often inhibits people from trying (entrepreneurship is experimental — if we can get across to budding entrepreneurs to treat things experimentally and not worry about making small mistakes along the way, I think we will be better off). Any followup thoughts?
Cheers, –Brendan
Hey Brendan,
What’s the URL of the program you mentioned at PACE at Univ. of Hawaii?
